Milestones

We just saw Kira roll over for the first time today! So the second tine it happened I got a couple of photos! Also Kira has found her brother and just giggles and smiles when he comes around. It has been so fun to see her grow and discover the world around and hoe great Trae is as a brother!

We wish you a merry Christmas! My Christmas cards came right before we left to come to Idaho but as hectic as it is to pack and leave I forgot them so they will be coming late! But I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Love Ya!

My first snowball

So Trae saw his first reall big snowfall the other day here in Soda Springs! He was so excited he kept telling us that it was raining we had to explain that it was snowing and that you can make a snowman with it so we need to go and let him play in the snow sometime soon since it is good snow! I can say though that I have not missed teh snow adn slick roads! I like it to be 60-70 degrees! But it will be fun to have a white Christmas!

Funny Story!!!

Do any of you think that the funniest things come out of your childs mouth. Trae has to have everything kissed better when he gets hurt. So just tonight he was playing basketball and running back and forth to the basket and lost his balance and fell on his bum hard. He stands up and says, "hit bum" then walks over to me and says "kiss it" He had all of us rolling on the floor laughing. So what is a mom to do? I did act like I kissed it better, and he went off and played some more and everything was better!

This is my favorite place to sit. I sit here and read books, play with my people, eat snacks, and sometimes I even fall asleep in my chair!

I think this is my jumper and that I am sharing with Kira, I still don't understand that I'm too big for it. I can climb in by myself but I get stuck getting out.

Cory was helping me pull my pants up. Isn't he helpful? Do you think they are up too high? I thought I was really funny!

My cute new dress from Grammy!

I am loving my new toy! I get a little nervous when I jump and it starts moving but there is a mirror that I have discovered you can see yourself in it. Kind of cool!

Yes I sometimes put the curlers in my hair to make them a little bit tighter!

Breakfast with Santa

On Saturday we went and had breakfast with Santa! The breakfast wasn't the best but it was fun just to be there. Trae talks about Santa and snowman all the time but didn't want to sit by him.








When I went by Trae he thought everything was ok and wanted to chat. He still doesn't understand that he can ask for things for Santa to bring him so when Santa asked him he didn't say anything. Mom thinks thats ok cause he will understand the presents thing soon enough!

Mom, Trae and Santa! Kira wasn't happy so we will have to try a Santa picture again!

Thanks Grammy!

One of Grammy's and Trae's things is fun towels. He loves getting out of the tub and having a choice of using either dog or duck or alligator. When Kira was born and she got a bunny towel he thought that was cool! Now he has to hang out

in his towel until Kira is done bathing so they both can be in it! Just one of those fun things! Thanks Grammy we love them!

So Traes' favorite thing to do after a basket ball game is to go out on the floor and make a shot! Last night we went to teh JV guys game and he waited on the sidelineswith a balln hand until the final buzzer rang!

As yo can see by his expressions that this just makes his day!

Sweet Kira doesn't know what to think about the gym! She will grow to love it as she is dancing at halftime!

O Christmas Tree

We had a day if FIRST on Thursday! We started our day of going to purchase some things to decorate our tree. Then we went to a girls basketball game at SVU! After every basketball game Trae knows he can go onto the floor and do SHOT! He loves it when people lift him up and he throws the ball but no one is ever tall enough that he ever makes it. Until the other day a kid on the JV team who is 6'8" held him up the the rim and he "MADE IT" (as Trae says) He had the biggest smile on his face. I had never seen him so excited. Everyone that was around was cheering and he thought he was amazing! He is!! The whole time I was just wishing that I had my camera! The one time I don't.
After the game we went to Lowes to get a Christmas Tree! I did run by the house to grab my cmaera! The whole way to Lowes he kept telling us that we were going to get a tree. At the store when we were jsut looking around he thought it was so cool to see the huge blow up figures! They even had one of Hot Dog (aka Mickey Mouse long story) and he had to tell everyone about it in the store. We then made our way outside and he just wanted a little tree then we showed him a big one and he said "Wow Tall" When we got home he realized that the tree was on top of our car and that was "cool" It just made his day to have a tree!
We now have our tree decorated 4 days later! But I think this had been the best year for me to decorate a tree! I have been given a ornament every year from my mom as long as I can remember So throughout the years I have just saved them in a box. Well I pulled it out today and let Trae unpack each one. He loved it! I have such a wide variety from really girlie ones to just fun ones for all! He kept all his favorites very low on the tree and the other I could u a little higher, but needless to say there aren't too many higher up on my tree. It would normally bug me but Trae loves to walk in the room now and he says WOW and then goes and look at all the ornaments so they will stay put. My house is starting to look alot like Chirstmas. So maybe it will start to feel like it as well! I'm very glad I decided to decorate.
