Happy 1st Birthday Kira J

Tonight so many emotions were running through my head. I was thinking back a year ago I was getting ready to go to the hospital in the morning to have Kira (well Abrie Elle at the time. We still haven't legally changed her name.) How fast a year can go. But what a blessing our sweet Kira has been in our life. She has such a spunky personality sometimes I wonder what I am going to do with her as she is screaming at the top of her lungs and then just laughing. But she brings a smile to our faces everytime we look at her.

The ABC's of Kira J

A is for Always screaming.

B is for bright eyes.

C is for crawling every where whenever she can.

D is for dare devil climber.

E is for eats anything we put in front of her.

F is for fun fun fun!!

G is for girly girl. (right now anyways)

H is for HAPPY!

I is for impressive walker at 10 1/2 months

J is for jokester. Loves to take things from her brother and run and laugh.

K is for kissing. She loves giving kisses. She even pukers up.

L is for loves her family!

M is for Missy Missy! What we all call her.

N is for No No. Always finding her where she knows she should not be.

O is for opening and closing cupboards. Her favorite thing in the kitchen unless she gets stuck in them.

P is for PRINCESS!!

Q is for Queen of the house.

R is for reading books. Already will bring them to me and want to get on my lap.

S is for spunky!

T is for Trae. Kira's favorite boy!!

U is for up. her favorite word to say right now.

V is for very very bossy! She knows what she wants.

W is for water baby. She loves the pool and bath.

X is for xtra special.

Y is for yelling. Does she have a quiet voice?

Z is for E-Z going. Will go to anyone that looks at her and smiles.

We Love you Kira J.!! We are so happy you are a part of our family!! Thank you for being our sweet princess!

We found a park!!

The other day our neighbor kids were telling that they were going to the park. I asked them where it was and they said it was super close. I knew there were a couple of schools right close but they all looked locked up. Apparently you just have to go in way of the neighborhoods. There are gates that are open. Happy day! It has saved us a few times. Kira loves eating the rocks and climbing and Trae just loves to be outside playing. Makes for a happy night for all of us!

Hanging out

My kids love to have their sunglasses on. The other day we had just gotten done with baths and I had just finished getting Kira dressed when I see my naked boy running (or sprinting) trying to find his glasses. He found them and thought he was hilarious. He has taught Kira to hurry and drop the towel as soon as you get to the living room and run around with a bare bum. What is it with kids and wanting no clothes on.

Trae gets so mad at Kira when she takes his glasses off this was right before she jetted with them in her hand laughing. What a bugger!

Trae was watching a show while I was doing dinner and he really wanted Kira to lay down and watch a show with him. She was tired enough she just laid their until her bottle was gone.

One day I will get a picture of my kids both looking at the camera. But I thought a few of these turned out.

Straws Everywhere!!

So this is such a common thing at our house with this little girl of ours. I thought I was being a good mom and putting things Trae uses a lot or snacks he can get himself on the bottom shelf in the pantry. Well it was a bad idea! Kira can open anything apparently with her teeth and will dump anything she can find. I was reading with Trae and Kira WAS playing with the magnets on the fridge but yet got into the pantry and dumped I don't know how many straws. The bad thing is she think she is really funny.

New Tie

Lately Trae has been watching Matt get ready for church and has wanted a white shirt and tie like Dad. I would forget all the time when we went to the mall finally Trae must have been frustrated waiting for Mom to get on the ball so he asked Grammy the other day if she would go find him a tie. So I got on the ball and went and bought him one the next day. But Grammy of course had to send him one as well so we will post that one later.

Trae was so pumped he looked like Dad to go to church!

He wouldn't let me take his picture at first cause we were in a hotel room with TV! We were all in heaven but Trae was pumped in the morning to watch Disney Playhouse.

Banana Time

Yes my kids sometimes eat healthy things. Trae it is a miracle moment when he does but Kira on the other hand is my healthy eater. But they were having so much fun sharing a banana the other day!

Loves her Skirt!!

Just the other day Kira found her skirt and was playing with it so I Let her wear it she loves walking with it but when she sits all she does is pull on it. But it is so fun!

Now I just need to make her a birthday shirt and her outfit will be complete!!

Crayon Roll

I finally made a crayon roll that I have been wanting got do for awhile now. It didn't turn out way good but hey its my first so maybe the nest one will be better. Trae thinks its great it is finally done so that is all that matters.
Now that I haven't lived by my mom I have had to start teaching myself how to sew things. I do feel pretty good about what I have been able to do. And I actually really enjoy it. When I have the time.

My Danncer

So my Trae really likes to dance. He also has a new show he really likes "Yo Gabba Gabba" it is kind of a dorky show but he really likes it cause they sing and dance. We are very limited on what we can watch since we don't have TV we just watch shows on the internet. Well Gabba Gabba has about 4 episodes that are there. One we watch over and over. So here is Trae's rendition of a dance they do on it.

Matt also has a rendition that is on my camera but he said he would be SUPER MAD if I posted it so if any of you really want to see it then just let him know. He reads all the comments!! Love you Babe!!

The other day I was making dinner and it turned really quiet cause Kira was eating and Trae was just at the atble coloring. (I thought) So I look around the corner and this is what I find. He said he needed some cause he was going to the pool. He had it everywhere. He wasn't going to get sun burned at all. Even his clothes were protected.
