Then Dax found a stamp and yes was pink/purple for 2 days cause it wouldn't come off. I really do watch him he just can get into anything in .2 seconds. Yes he keeps me in my toes.

Dax has learned that he like drawing....This is a good time that he is drawing on paper because he normally draws on himself or the walls.

Trae sometimes thinks it is so funny to put dance outfits on and show me his good moves. Funny kid. Kira isn't a fan but she has started a new trend wearing tights over the leo.

First time ever......

playing in the snow. And they were in heaven but didn't like how cold they got, but it didn't stop them from play a few more times this winter. Also every time they have a chance to grab snow and throw a snowball it's a good day.

Dax on the other hand didn't not like he wasn't in on the action, but he had no snow clothes so I had to be a mean mom and not let him. He finally was ok cause the kids would come throw snow at the window and make Dax happy again.

As I am mostly in the kitchen area during my day I have a little person who has to be right there watching or just finding things to get into. But I love that has soon as he realizes where I am or going he is climbing right up on the little table so he can be with me.

Christmas Day

Oh they are ready. Trae told me when I went to his room this morning that he knew Santa came cause he really heard him.

Rex and Ham to finish the Toy Story collection. It was a happy day and his Leapster He was busy all day

Dolls and a kitchen and this little girl is in heaven.

Dax loves cars and driving so this was perfect for him and was in it driving or pushing it around.

The kids wanted to give gifts that were just from them so they made Yaya a bag and D an apron. They loved painting on them and thinking of the perfect picture that they could make.

Christmas Eve

What a magical season Christmas is. I love this time of year and even tho I can go overboard its like I am a kid again. We had my mom and sister's family with us at our house and we had a great time relaxing loving on Kinley and just spending time together.

We put our own stockings out for Santa and Trae was thinking he was so funny and he is.
Kira had to have Kinley's right by her and she was bugged that I had to take a picture. Love this girl

The Reindeer needed to have a treat and also some guidance to our house so they threw oats everywhere.

Santa was very good to us this year.

Matt/Trae surprised me with my present early a NEW Camera. So Trae thought my old one is his. I was so excited and have loved it and use it all the time.

Grammy and the kids gave us a show. They did the nativity and sang a song. It was great and the kids had a ball.
Christmas pj's Dax was out but they all matched.
We decorated a gingerbread house. It was a new thing I tried but we had fun and it took up time that night. They didn't think the candy was very good so they would eat other treats and put all the ucky candy on the house.

Opening presents from each other Kira gave Trae a Toy Story plate and stuff with Super Hero Squad guys.

Trae gave Kira a Tangled doll and a princess book. All the gifts were hits and are still being played with.

Getting ready to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner on Christmas Eve its a tradition at our house and I love it cause it makes Christmas Eve so much more enjoyable.

A day in the life of my kids

Is it a given at any one elses house that before Dad goes to work you have to have horsey rides. Cause it is at my house and my kids love it.
My motherly Kira is always trying to help out with Dax and giving him a gogurt and that he can squirt on his tray and play in it while she feeds him is a big help. :)
He is perfectly happy and that is all that matters

My cool dude. He loves sunglasses and will wear them around every where but he expects a woowoo cool dude to be said to him while they are on.
Rides in laundry baskets are the best aren't they?! Why do I buy my kids toys when thye love to use their imagination and invent new things to do.

Dax just being helpful like always, but as you notice there is his baby that he loves carrying around.

I love my life even if I think I am going crazy sometimes my kids will always put a smile on my face.

Birthday Party for Dad

Matt was gone on his birthday so we had a little party when he got home. The kids decorated his cake and I made his favorite dinner. Always a fun party at our house when it's your birthday.

Even though Matt doesn't care if we throw a party for him the kids and I like to make a big deal about him. We think he is great and in a word he knows better AWESOME!!! We love our Dad and Hubby.

Matt when on a cruise for the company and it was his birthday while he was gone. I never get to really surprise him big so I thought I would finish the theater, he always kept saying I wish we had a sink and a place for snacks, so it got done while he was gone thanks to so help from one of his employees. Before Matt left for his cruise Trae had to have him open his present from him it has been killing him to be keeping it a secret for so long. But he didn't crack at all. He actually loves doing surprises for people.

Trae has played it all week while Matt has been gone trying to get in as much practice as he can so he can beat Matt when he gets home.

Snowmobiling and Christmas bedding

For Christmas this year Grammy sent the kids Christmas bedding. Although since it is snowman I may leave it on through January. I got them flannel sheets Kira was so excited when I got the beds made that her bed was so soft.

Sweet dax loves to play with his dad peek a boo and cuddles.

Gabe invited the kids to come play with Brock and Luke with the snowmobile yesterday and the kids were in heaven. It was the first time my kids have really played in the snow (I know sad but they never had wanted to). They had a ball throwing snowballs taking turn on the sled and going together. Smiles all around even tho the adults were freezing.

Trae took Kira for a ride and apparently was scared for her life cause he was a crazy driver. Her face tells it all

Kira always wanted Luke to take her for ride he would let her drive a little as well and she thought it was great.

The boys. They have such a fun time with each other its nice that they are all close enough in age that they will just play.

There are not words that describe my boy Trae he has so many funny moments in a day that I swear with all the negative thigns in a day they are always turned around cause of somthing that comes out of Trae's mouth or what type of clothes he puts on.

And it would not be a complete day if my Kira didn't have a swimsuit or dance leo on for part of it. I sometimes wish my life was as carefree as theirs but being their mother is the best job I could think of.

My dear Dax gets into the cupboard all the time. But he has now realized that he can open the cereal box and pull out the bag so he did the other day and thought he was hot stuff carrying the bag as he walks around. He always brings a smile to my face as do the other 2, but the different stages each of them are in right now are so fun I wouldn't change it for anything.

We had a great Thanksgiving. It was so laid back it was just our little family this year we didn't travel anywhere but it was so fun to have a relaxing day and just be together. That morning the kids played dress ups and just had a great time with just the 2 of them.

Then they watched some movies on teh computer while I was getting lunch ready. We ate at 1:00 since the turkey got done earlier than I thought.

Everyone at the not decorated table. I had such good intentions but I ended up spending the day before with Matt it took my sewing time but I wasn't complaining. I did get the fancy cups out and Trae and Kira thought they were so cool. I forget and need to get these out more often. All in all it was a great day and I am so very thankful for my family. I love each one of them so very much.

Dax first ride

Matt is always giving the kids horse ride motorcycle rides or just flipping them over but Dax got in on the action the other day and he was loving it. Trae and Kira thought it was great as well cause they got to ride with him. They never really like to leave Dax out they are such good siblings.

Disney on Ice

A couple of days after Trae's surgery we went to Disney on Ice. We had so much fun it was just Trae Kira and me. It was fun to just have special time with the two older kids while Dax was with Aunt Lisa. My kids think they are Disney professionals but they sit at the edge of their seat and wait for the next story to come on it is great.

Before it starts we always get there a little early to walk around and look at everything and get some snacks for the show. There was about 10 minutes before the show is suppose to start and Trae leans over and says, "Mom I 'm ready for them to say Ladies and Gentelman" It was super cute. And at the end they pick out a Peter Pan and Minnie person to buy. Peter Pan and Mickey and gang were the favorite.

Walking Dax

Why do I buy my kids clothes cause they really would rather be in a costume or a jersey for Trae. Oh how he loves Toy story he is really Andy from the movie. He also likes to put her jersey on and do the starting line up for the Bengals but we have to call out all the names of the guys. We love our Bengals.

Visitors and surgery

Kira hanging out with Kinley. Ali and Kinley stayed with us the night we got done with surgery. It was fun to have them here. When Trae got home all he wanted to do was lay by Kiney and cuddle with her.

Trae had surgery on Nov 9th and he was a trooper to say the least. We had to be at the hospital at 10am (mind you they wouldn't let him eat anything past midnight so he was starving) to check in and to all the routine stuff to get all ready. The nurse came in and was a very nice but wouldn't really talk to Trae cause he was so young she kept asking me what he knew and I finally told her just talk to him he will ask you questions and tell you what he knows. He says I'm going to go to sleep and then they will cut me open and when I wake up I will be able to eat. So when is the doctor going to be here? He was ready to get this all over with. Every nurse that came in he would ask can we go to surgery I am hungry!

He was very well educated before we got there I have found that if we talk about it a lot he really is the best patient and just does what he is asked and isn't surprised about anything. He gave us a hug and the nurse took him and Woody and Buzz off to surgery and he didn't even cry which made it easier for me to keep it together. It went longer than it was suppose to but he did great and it went good. It took him a little longer to wake up but there were no breathing issues at all so that was a sigh of relief and he was ready to eat when he was awake. He got graham crackers, juice and strawberry ice cream and then he really wanted pancakes so on our way home we stopped at Perkins to get him some. I feel very blessed that it all went well and there were no complications.

My happy boy Dax. He got to stay with my good friend Tara for the day while I was at the hospital and he was in heaven cause Tara could hold him whenever he wanted and he pretty much got all the attention for the day.

I am very blessed to have such good friends around me who are willing to help out.

Trae got to start his birthday celebration by going to an ISU mens basketball game in his new jersey. I asked him what number was his favorite before he knew what I was doing and he said 10 so i told him I was going to have a jersey made like the guys' and he said he still wanted number 10 cause it was his favorite number(and it really is) and Nic Mason was his favorite as well.

Every game he gives every guy a high five he won't sit down until he got everyone. Some of the guys will even stop what they are doing and ask where Trae is if he isn't there which doesn't happen very often Trae doesn't miss games.

After the game we went to Randy's gym. It's teh funnest place around to have a party in Trae's mind. Everyone young and old really does have a good time.

This year I took the kids trick or treating while Matt stayed home with Dax and handed out candy. It was a fun Halloween Kira got to go woth her friend Belle trick or treating and it was a nicer night that they all had fun and were ready to be done when we got back to the house.

My sweet, happy, easy going, loving, cuddle bug baby is 1! I still can't believe how fast this year has gone, we have been blessed with so many things this year but what tops my list is this little boy.

We had a Dr Suess themed party for Dax, it was a hit and so fun to plan. This is one of my favorite things to do for my kids.

I had to put a picture in here of Gabe because it never fails he always gives the favorite gift and he didn't disappoint this time at all.The pinata was a hit even tho there was no candy in it we just filled it with fun little toys.

The other night before the big Halloween carnival the Laurels needed to practice face painting since they were in charge and they were in need of some models so yes my kids didn't hesitate they said they would do it. This is one of their favorite things to do until the time comes to washing it off. But they look cute and had a ball doing it so that is all the matters.

It is a tradition in our house to get shirts for Halloween and thi year I picked them out. The kids love wearing them even when its not Halloween but thye wore them to school one day and of course Dax had to get in on the action.

....likes to play in the cupboards. Trae and Kira always played in the kitchen cupboards when we lived in Texas for the summers. Since I never brought too many toys they always had their little people and would set them up in the cupboards and play for hours. The other day I was doing something in the kitchen and Dax found an empty cupboard he could climb into and he is all grins. Yes I find him here on a regular basis.

My dear friend stitched this for me because I use to always say this and her not so little anymore girl started saying it. Through out all the years I have always had this in my room or somewhere in my house. It now sits on m kitchen counter so I look at in constantly through out my day and it is such a good reminder that my day needs to be happy. I also think if my friend Shelli who made this for me and her girl Brinn. With life so crazy I want to do all these things and go visit friends and it seems like time goes so fast but as I have been thinking of my friend Shelli she has motivated me to start stitching again it is something I really enjoy doing and haven't done it forever since I lived with her. So this is what I am going to make next

Pumpkin carving Jolley style

As much as I love Halloween I hate carving pumpkins. It's messy, nasty, and just gross. And Matt dislikes it more than I do but is a good sport every year. This year I saved the day I found these dress up pumpkin things and they were the best thing ever the kids loved it cause it didn't take forever to do and they could help more than carving and they are just cute.

Conference Weekend

What a wonderful weekend we just had. I love Conference weekend but I now have the hardest time just sitting and watching, I feel like I have to be doing something so I found some crafts to keep my hands busy.

Wow I feel like I am recharged and some things I want to be better with but the spirit that is there is wonderful. Even Trae wanted to watch so he could play his conference Bingo or coloring a picture that the speaker was talking about. And just being able to be home for a weekend is great.

Dax loved being in the tent and was very entertained.

Trae and Kira had a basket full of crafts and things to do throughout the different sessions.
These are some countdown blocks that I made still need to make another birthday set but I did get one completely done. :)

Ever since we moved into our house I have wanted to decorate our living room so when you walk into our house it looks like some one lives there. And I have finally found some things I like and have put together the room. It's now decorated with Halloween and Fall but her are the pictures.

These 2 red chairs are my favorite. I wanted just a comfy chair to read a book in or snuggle the kids. And we have used them so much. Trae always sits up on the side Kira in my lap reading our new book order and library books. I am loving how it is turning out still little things I need to find like lamps but I walk in and think I love this room. Now onto the family ISU room down stairs and the master bedroom.

This one was so excited about going to school. I didn't have her in one but then last minute she decided she wanted to go. So I searched and searched for a school and luckily for me a little boy wasn't potty trained in time to go to school so Kira J got his spot. She asks everyday if its school day Monday and Wednesday are the days she goes and comes home singing a song she learned. She is growing up so fast I just hope she is not as strong willed at school as she is at home.

We have become friends with such a great family in our ward the Campbells. We didn't have a a babysitter for Dax so LeAnn said she would take him then Kira decided to go with them. What?! We needed to trade some how so we took their 2 boys and we had a ball. So much fun even tho ISU lost it was still a fun game and fun people to be with.

Fair rides

I let the kids ride rides 1 day at the fair and if you ask Trae why he will say cause it cost a lot of money. So I let them pick the day and they chose to wait until Mariah could come and ride with them. The kids had a ball there were no lines and it was fun to have Tara there with me to talk to and help out with the rides and with Dax.

We laughed all day at these signs, they were on a few rides and we kept saying is this suppose to make us want to go on these rides?

Dax was a trooper this day he cuddled him up with his blanket and he was out for the entire time the kids rode rides.

Dax is now discovering new toys that are not the "baby" toys so much. He is growign so fast. He is still content on just crawling but will walk along things and with toys that go when you push them. He turns 1 next month and time as gone by so fast. But we enjoy every minute with him he is such a happy baby all the time.

Oh how I love the East Idaho State Fair. I was so pumped that I lived in Pocatello so I could go whenever I wanted. The funny thing was Trae asked every day if we could go I am pretty sure that he is loving it as much as I do.

Before Trae's sleep study I asked him what he wanted to do and he said that he just wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese. I said that sounds great and it was worth every penny we spent cause all the kids had a ball and wore them out so they went to bed great (or so I'm told by Lisa who watched the other 2 kids).

Dax was in heaven that he got to ride the rides also since he normally is in a stroller.
Enjoying some cheese sticks. He is such a happy baby.
Kira's favorite thing were teh roller coaster simulators.
Trae loved playing air hockey with dad.

Matt is just a big kid when it comes to places like this. He loves playing the games.

Sleep Study

Where to begin. My dear Trae has been my medical child. We get told all the time. He's fine nothing is wrong. Well when my dear son wakes up in the night and can't breath there is something wrong. I finally switched doctors and feel a lot better about every thing. We had his oxygen tested at home one night and it came back that 15% of the night his oxygen level was in the 50's. So after we found that out we decided a sleep study would be the way to go. (for the first step) he was a trooper and never complained once. He woke up at 5:30 and asked can I be done with this? I went and got the nurse and we were out of the hospital by 6:40. We still have not heard anything about his results. I know this is not the end but hopefully we can figure things out so he can get a good night sleep. Then on to the next thing.

Bengal Foundation

At the begining of the year there was a meet the ISU teams day at the Holt. It was one of the funnest days we had had in a long time the kids were in heaven playing each sport and hanging out with the basketball team.

Cuba helping the kids slam dunk the ball. They thought this was so cool. Trae even hung on the rim for a bit.

Getting ready to throw the football. Trae has a pretty good arm and hit the target quite a few times. Kira needed a little extra help so she went right up to the hole a threw the football right in. All the players and each team were so cute with the kids.

All in all it was a great day and they had a blast going from all the different sports.

The Idaho Falls Zoo

My dear Dax has figured out where the cereal is and loves to go help himself to some. As you can see the box is tipped upside down with Cheerios all over the floor. I love this boy
We took a trip to Idaho Falls and had to go to the zoo so then I could run some errands and win win trip for mom and kids. The loved the zoo I so wish Pocatello would get a better one they truely love to see the animals no matter how many times they have gone.

Trae at the dentist

Trae is the best patient ever when it comes to any doctors office and teh dentist was no exception. He is such a trooper when it comes to going to the dentist. He watched Bolt the entire time even when they were not working on his teeth he just laid there with no complaints.

I don't know what it is about the dentist but it has to be the least liked place to visit. Kira did great she held very still and opened her mouth so big and best of all she is in the NO CAVITY CLUB!!! I thought for sure she would have cavities. She kind of takes after her mom in that she has the biggest sweet tooth. But she is good. They have a show on the ceiling that they can watch to take their mind off of what is going on and it really works. I decided if I could come to this dentist I would go more often.

Kira is the Ski Princess

My dear Kira has been saying all summer that she wants to ski. She tried a couple of times but just got off before we took off. Well our last time at Alexander's she told us she wanted to ski so Sue got it all hooked up and Kira was happily waiting for Sue to hit it. Last second she said she didn't want to but Sue took off and Kira did great. A little bit while skiing she stood up all the way and gained a lot of confidence and was very happy she was skiing. She got out and all she could say was I didn't even fall I am the Ski Princess.

We had been boating for a few hours and Dax was so tired I tried and tried to put him to sleep and nothing was working so I thought well he normally goes to sleep just in his car seat so I started the car and put him in his seat. It was really quiet in the car I thought YES it was a success. Much to my dismay this is what I found. He had slid out of his seat and found the crackers in the middle console and was just eating away and so impressed with himself that when I found him he was giggling and just smiling.

What is it about beaters that everyone loves to lick what ever sweet is on them. This is Dax's first try of the beaters and it was no exception to the liking of these chocolate frosting beaters. If you can't tell from his face he is very happy with himself.

Michael and Sam trying to stay on the tube. They were great to watch and listen to. Some of teh funnest boys to be around. I am glad Trae has some older boys to look up to that are around and think he is a pretty special boy as well.

Kira and Mattie. Kira being a pill sometimes she is all smiles when the camera is out and other times she can't be bothered. Mattie has been our saving grace. When we moved into this house we knew no one. We walked into church and my old seminary teacher was the bishop. So that week I asked if they had girls that babysat and the rest is history with "Our Mattie" as the kids call her. We love her and her family they are like our 2nd family. Trae told that to Mattie one day.

Canada trip

Matt and Trae went to Canada with the ISU basketball team this August. Trae had a great time. Yes he did get a stamp in his passport before I did, but he was in heaven. He got to ride on the bus with the team, have pregame meals with them and stay in the same hotel as the team. The guys are great to him, you would think he was apart of the team.

Sitting on the bench with the team he knows what is going on through out the entire game and follows and cheers for each person who does something good.

Future coach? I don't know how I feel about this but I don't think he has a choice, Great Grandpa, Grandpa, Dad all were coaches I think it is in the blood.

His favorite player Broderick Gilchrest as you can see he has his jersey on. All the guys like to see who's jersey he is wearing before the game.

Kira finally got her new big girl bike!! She loves it fell off today so now she won't ride it unless she gets a helmet.

Trae thinks its great that they both have bikes that they can ride together.

Messy face boy just got done at the Bagelary eating a cinnamon stick. He loves giving me lots of hugs lately and just wanted to take a picture with me. Love this kid!!

Wow where has time gone. I still can't believe that 3 years ago Missy joined our family. And it hasn't been the same since. She brings so much life to our family. She has a spunky personality that you can not believe.

So many times Dax is so dirty from eating that jsut a wipe down with a wash cloth doesn't work so now he gets put in the sink and gets a mini bath but as you can tell he loves it.

the Arellano's from North Carolina!! Oh how I miss Shena and the kids. I so wished we lived by each other again. When we lived in VA I tried to get to NC once or twice a month and Shena and I could have a lot of fun together. My kids love playing with their cousins as well. We were glad we got a few hours while they came to visit Shena's family.

Kira was not happy with Mickey cause he used Trae's pen to sign her book so she had a hige break down and everyone was trying to make her happy so Mickey signed her book again with HER pen.

We had a magical moment when we went to get Trae's lunch the girl that was helping us said to Trae I think you need a magical moment her is a special Buzz cup cause I think you are the cutest thing ever. Trae just smiled and said thank you. He was so pumped all day

Riding on the train. Trae would always ask how long the line was going to take for any ride then decide if he wanted to go on it. But he never asked how long the line was to see a character.
The Merry go Round was a fav. They rode it 3 times

Kira was in the parade and loved every minute of it.

They gave us a drum to beat on but Trae was sad that he didn't get his own. Every time he sees this photo he says this is the only time I threw a fit at Disneyland.
The only princess he wanted to see. Sleeping Beauty is his favorite. And she sat and talked to him for like 5 minutes it was great

The 3 he really wanted to see and he got to play with all of them for a bit. all in one stop can't get better
