Merry Christmas to ME!

Matt and I thought we should put a limit on our gifts to each other so we agreed on an amount and I was doing pretty good with my budget, I figured out a way to extend my budget but I was happy with what I got him and thought he would like it. Well He thought he was so clever! So he had Trae get a Bosch and Kira for me the blender and food processor. I am not complaining cause I absolutely LOVE IT and have been wanting one ever since we got married but just never would go a buy it for myself. Can I just say how amazing they are. I have already made bread and cookies and it is so much easier than doing it by hand!
Thanks Matt I love it and I know you love the blender!

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas morning and all day! It was so fun to have Grammy, Yaya, Dusty here. The kids took almost all day to open all their presents. It really bugged Trae that Kira wasn't into opening her presents so at 4ish I finally just let Trae bring out Kira's presents and help her open them. She loved them when they were open but it just took her a while. We normally take turns with opening but Yaya didn't do very good waiting for her turn! But all in all it was a great few days!!

Kira also got some baby stuff. It has been fun to see her with her babies such a little mother.
Trae got a slide from Santa! He was amazed that it fit in Santa's bag. Pretty amazing! This was the hit this year Kira loves it as well!

Santa left Kira a little kitchen. She loves it. She became very disinterested in the other presents.

Our Nativity

Kira really does smile but this is her face most of the time with a little scowl and attitude. She was our Mary.

Trae was suppose to be Joseph but he decided he just wanted to watch. Ali of course laughing in the background she was the wise man. Grammy was the angel, Dusty Joseph and a Shepard, and Dad the donkey cause I thought that is how I could get Trae and Kira to participate.

Once there was a Snowman

It was great having my family here for Christmas. We had so much fun and Dusty was prepared to play outside with Trae and Grammy was ready for some snow action as well.

Trae really liked throwing snowballs until it got down his shirt.

Ta Da Way to go Grammy and Dusty they of course had to finish the snowman. Ali, Kira and I cheered for them inside. They even did snow angels for Trae while he was watching inside but that picture was on Ali's camera.Yaya and her buddy Kira. Kira the whole time just wanted to be with Yaya.

My Little Performers!

We went to watch Grandma Sue's Christmas recital the other day and the kids loved it!

Trae is my little dancer. While we were staying in Soda before we found our house his favorite thing to do was to go out to the studio and either dance himself or watch the dancers. He got pretty good at shuffle step, jump in and out and his turns. Kira also loved her tap tap shoes.

While we were waiting for the recital to start Matt took the kids to walk around the school and there was basketball practice going on so he thought we will watch this until it starts. Well Trae didn't like that at all. He got really stressed he kept saying he wanted to go watch the dancers and Matt would tell him we have a long time before it starts. It was still making Trae nervous so he just brought Trae back to me and he sat there the entire time just watching the dancers or sitting by the dancers.

But after the recital the kids wanted to get up on the stage and they were loving it!! They are my little performers for sure!

Our Little Reindeer

We have the best library in the little town of Downey! That is our closest library so we make the weekly trip every Saturday morning for story time! They read a story and do a craft every time. This last time they made antlers. The kids wore them all around the whole day! So fun! The free fun things to do that we look forward to every week! Thanks Downey Library for coming through for us to have such an awesome story time!!

Chairs

By the look of this picture you would think Kira was very happy with her chair. I am sure she is but she still likes her brothers chair! We bought Kira a chair a little while ago thinking it would cause a lot less fighting between her and Trae over his chair. Granted it has a bit but she sure can get in his chair super fast as soon as he gets up. We love her even tho she is a pill! How can you not love that little face!

Airplane!

Yesterday we were playing airplane. I have been sick and the kids get so restless if we don't have our regular playtime so I needed to be extra fun for a bit while I had the energy. It was fun and their faces were so funny. They had the biggest smiles Trae mostly cause normally its just Dad who plays this and he can flip them but we found a way so Trae could flip kind of and fall off. Good times.
